"CHOICES ARE NOT TO BE PLAYED WITH."
Have you ever made a choice and and it came to you and you either regret making the choice or be thankful for it? Well this goes alot with the book Kindred how she made alot of choices that made her regret and a few grateful that she made that choice also how some the choices cause things that Dana has never experience before and she is grateful that some time's she make good choice. Octavia E. Butler main point is what ever choices you make now will come to you later into you're life back to you.
In the book Kindred and example in the book is how Dana time traveled to the pas and she saw a little boy in the river drowning and she made a choice to either save him or let the woman which was his mother in the other side try to save him but she chose to save him here is a quote from the book Dana saving Rufus,"I ran down to the river,into the water fully clothed, and swam quickly to the child." You can find that quote in the book in (page,13). And she was grateful that she saved him because now Rufus can live his life now like other people and Dan was grateful for that choice because when she time travels back to the past when Rufus and she can see he had a wonderful life.
Another example in the book in Kindred is Dana made one of the hardest choices she ever done and this in the last chapter,"The rope", and she is in a situation that cause her to murder Rufus the little boy from the river but in order for her to get back to the present she must kill Rufus and it is a long story why but she chose to kill him in the barn were they both are and Rufus tries to convince Dana to stay with Rufus by acting lonely unloved and not wanted any were at all. And in this quote Dana prof her choice in a this quote,"I was aware of him trying to hurt me even as raised the knife,and as I sank the knife into his side of his shoulder." And Rufus screaming so loud that Dana never done before and she would never do again but some thing happens Rufus is still alive and grabs Dana's arm and then she grabs the knife and stabbed him in the back and Dana was already heading back to her present but some thing happens she ends up hitting the wall and some how arm is stuck in the wall then she pullout and see that she does not have a left arm no more but a quote explains,"I lost arm one my way to home while Rufus was still was holding it stayed with him."
I have a connection to make when Dana first traveled to the past to go save Rufus I was going to a Field trip and they had a swimming pool when every one had free time most people went to the pool I went because it was fun so we all got in and there was three different sides that I did not know about because I did not listen about hose sides and I chose to go to the second side and only reach me to the chest taller people were in it and we all were swimming. Then I felt not going up I was typi towing and then I was drowning and can barley scream for help water in my mouth trying to spit it out but then I stared to lose air then a life guard save me and pulled me out of the second side I was holding on to side of the pool and that day was not cool. And every time I go to swim I regret going to the deep end now I'm paranoid it might happen again if forget about the deep end and go to it and drown again.
I got advice to give you if you are about make a choice think first which one is right and ask for some ones opinion if you like it or not and then ask like questions about the choices to see which one can satisfy you mostly about because the choices you make you would either,"regret!", or be thankful for it and it would get you because choices are never to be played with at all it is what determines a part of you're life. Here is a quote in my old school in elementry that they use in the end of the day to help you make good choices every time you come to school,"the choices you make today help our world tomorrow."

DIED AND LOVE
Uncle,
I know you're dead
But I still miss you alot
Because you are the only uncle
I know that would be so nice
To me and that was so cool about you
Every time we have a party
You would always have a bear and talk
With my dad but you died because I don't blame you
I blame alcohol and you want to know why is that is
Poison for people and that's how you died
But every one still miss
You as well so I hope none of our
People get sick of that.

DARKNESS
Do I wear the mask or does it wear me?

As young person,

I can speak a Language that American people
rarely speak

College for all
College to me is important because it is a place were futures are completed and gone to success is every were. Also it is I can plan my future and complete my journey to college and I can move on to persuade into my life completely. And it is one of the biggest opportunities in my whole life that I will accept to go into my favorite college of all. But I'm having a hard time getting there were I live and how is it going around there all the time day to day. For at least some people are going and went my uncle is going and my neighbor went all ready that why he got a good house cars and wealth my uncle sort of but he lost his job and going back to college to get a better one. And some times he tells me how cool to be in college big classes and lost of students around there to. But one thing that bothered me for a weeks is how my parents know I'm going to the trip they anything about college not even a example of it.
One but I already know why because when in Mexico the system was unfair and you had to pay for education and there parents did not have enough money to pay for education and when they were going back some rich family took there places and never passed the 6th grade. And I'm really mad at those people for taking there place sat school. But now it is too late for them to go to college or to any school and one thing it would be the same if they paid to go to college end up not paying and get kicked out and some one else taking there places. But now they want to focus on work and money to stay in shelter all the time. And my life was always keeping me from going to go college. But the worst part of all is how my parents are going to pay for college if they have to pay for rent on the house and food and everything we need.
One thing I over come was ignoring that I won’t be able to pay for college and that is too hard to pass the grades and it is hard to give because of professional homework and I heard from a college drop out and he was Mexican. Another barrier I got threw was doing homework all the time in 6th
grade I would not do it because the words that I heard I internalize it and got me to thinking school is a waste full to go but after I teachers that knew why you should go and then I got back on track. And does words keep on making me move if you get what you always wanted you're dream job and what you love about you're job. Also to never give up keep going don't think negative thoughts and you will succeed and I will to go to college as well.

Oppression
My area of study is struggles in school and it could be an individual, a partner, and group of people. And it could be in any kind of school in the whole entire world and that are struggling always in school and there many things that can oppress you like being bullied, harassed, parent divorced, and learning disability. They can be liberate there self's is to stay after school and get help from a tutor to help you understand the homework a little better for you're self to do it on you're own. And if you need help for family problems go to a psychiatrist and he would give the answer and let you feel a little better. Also you should to talk to some of the community if they know any thing different about solving you're problems because you would never know if they already deal with all ready and solved it before and can try again but for you. And probably they know some thing different about you're problem.

Liberation
Our school can gain liberation by forming of a group of people that can make a after school program that can provide allot of help for them to learn in a pace people are in school and also to help them through family problems that they are having trouble in school all the tie and to get them in track. Another way to reach liberation is to have teachers making the students stay for them to get a clear way of getting the homework allot better than worse. Also to teach them about bulling and how to avoid them not to become one and how to resolve a problem with them for order for them not to oppress you're life and learning. And the final way to liberate the whole school is to announce if anyone has a problem with a person to resolve it and they won't have any at all.
Our community would be liberated if they did not have any violence around terrorizing our people because that is what causing all of it most and some is family privacy. And those things can be gangs, deportation of family, alcohol, drugs, and abuse of family's and I think in my opinion that is the hard stuff to get through in life. And our community would be a awesome world if got rid of all that oppressing stuff that is happening and then fruitvale would be violence free, drug free, and gang free and it would be a safe place to live in forever. And now people would have no fear going some were or going outside or waling at night with out getting robed not even once. People now would have the power to go to college having no barriers stopping them at no point just success all around the world they go and would be at once Paradise for people to live in with out fear.

My english expo dicussion reflection
What I like most about the the process was people that were not from our grade or school joined and had a discussion. I had challenges when saying vocabulary words because some were hard to pronounce and i would mess up for a little bit. The main area I want to work with is vocabulary because it is hard to pronounce some of the important ones. What I am most proud of is having a really long on track discussion with a group of people.
